Meet the Assessment Team
Dr. Wershba is the founder of Boston Metro Neuropsychology and an experienced clinical and forensic neuropsychologist. She also serves as Co-Director of Psychological Services at Community Neuroscience Services (CNS), where she provides comprehensive evaluations for individuals with neurological conditions such as dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, movement disorders, epilepsy, neoplasm, and other complex cognitive concerns. She is additionally on staff at Whittier Rehabilitation staff, which provides inpatient and transitional care for people recovering from physical or neurological injury. Her work integrates evidence-based assessment with clear, practical recommendations to guide medical, legal, and educational decision-making.
She has advanced clinical training across major medical centers, including the VA, UMass Medical Center, Cambridge Health Alliance, and the Home Base Program with Massachusetts General Hospital. She has specialized training and expertise in capacity and competency evaluations, mild traumatic brain injury, and complex psychiatric presentations.

Rebecca Wershba, Ph.D.
Vincenzo Zaccheo, Psy.D.
Dr. Zaccheo is a clinical neuropsychologist with Boston Metro Neuropsychology with an expertise in veteran evaluations and Return to Work/Fitness for Duty. He pratices clinically with Dr. Wershba and others at Community Neuroscience Services. He obtained his doctorate in clinical psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (APA accredited), and subsequently completed an accredited two-year neuropsychology residency at a private practice. His training included individuals across the lifespan presenting with varied referral concerns such as dementia, mild cognitive impairment, traumatic brain injury, central nervous system tumors, stroke, epilepsy, and ADHD.
Dr. Jacobson is the principal Psychological Evaluator, with a special emphasis on Return to Work/Fitness for Duty and ADHD/LD evaluations. For over 20 years Dr. Jacobson has provided outpatient therapy and psychological evaluations for adults and families. In 2014 he helped create the Shoulder-to-Shoulder program which worked provided support, information, and referral services to veterans and their families in Massachusetts. Dr. Jacobson has a subspecialty in psychological testing and has provided those services for five area school systems, three hospitals, and at several community-based locations. He has also provided trainings and workshops on topics related to mental health, wellness, and treating special populations to a wide variety of hospitals, school systems, professional groups, and government agencies. He received a BA from Tufts University, an MBA at University of Massachusetts, and his Doctorate in Psychology at University of Hartford.
